Full description
Rome’s famous squares, monuments, fountains and artists offer you the very best attractions on this 2.5-hour afternoon walking tour. Let the Eternal City enchant you as you stroll through its picturesque cobblestone alleyways, and discover some of the world’s most famous sites, such as the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Travel back in time and admire all of the city’s must-see art and architecture, in a single afternoon! Begin in Piazza del Popolo, the traditional northern “door to Rome,” with the Church of Santa Maria del Popolo as the first church that visitors to Rome would see upon entering its gates. The Spanish Steps, with its lively atmosphere and stunning views, bring you down into the winding alleys of the heart of the historic center, where you will encounter the ornate Trevi Fountain. Throw a coin in the fountain and promise to return! Continue with a stop at Piazza Colonna and see the column erected by Marcus Aurelius that is now considered by Romans as the very center of the city. We will also stop at the Pantheon to explore its impressive concrete dome and open oculus. Nearby, visit Piazza Navona to get a close-up view of Bernini’s famous “Fountain of the Four Rivers,” triumphantly marking its ornate center. Finally, you will go to Piazza Navona for a taste of one of the liveliest and most famous piazzas in Rome.

The guide was very kind and made sure I didn’t get lost. I saw absolutely everything I wanted to see and I was so tired that day after 6 other days of hardcore sightseeing and traveling prior to this one. This day in particular was also my birthday! I felt so worn out I would have missed out on half those things and I needed to see them for my first trip to Europe for my birthday. I absolutely love this tour and I’m so thankful for it! Also the patheon was closed to the public but our fantastic and kind guide got us right in! I loved all the history she td about and I wish I remembered her name! She had blondish hair, long hair I guess, medium height Caucasian woman, maybe she was French. I’m not sure. But she was very kind and the best tour guide I had the whole trip on the toughest day also! 10 stars thanks to her! I saw it all!

Raf was an amazing guide. She was very knowledgeable and she spoke clear enough for us to understand. The extra tidbits of information that she gave us were a plus (the secrets, gossips and feuds). The outside of the Pantheon is included in the tour, however, the inside isn't. Raf was willing to take us inside depending on the length of the line. If I could give her more stars I would. Definitely worth it!

We had an excellent experience with our guide, Jaber. The pace of the tour was good as we were able to visit the key sites and take photos. Perfect for the traveler who has a limited time but wants to get an experience of the city. The gelato treat at the end was a delight! Headsets make it possible to explore in the vicinity of the group without missing any important history. Definitely would do again! Worth every penny!!
