Once outside of the city, continue along the Appian Way to the Park of the Aqueducts. Arrive at the Park of the Aqueducts and stop for a little break to cool down in the flowing water from the Aqueduct Felice. In the vicinity, there is a local market where you can choose your favourite Italian lunch. Purchase a variety of local products like prosciutto, bread, cheese, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and fruit. This was our favorite moment in Rome - hands down. Glenn was a really great guide, knowledgeable lovely guy and we really enjoyed sharing this time with him. The e bikes were really easy to ride, intuitive and I loved the 'assist' for the (few) hills. It makes this tour accessible to most all levels of riders! The close up view of the aqueducts, the open air and gorgeous countryside just outside Rome... Super fun and relaxing and informative. Highly recommended.

Very enjoyable trip.

Musa, our guide, was really helpful and conscientious. he was careful to ensure our safety on the roads, and really keen to convey the history of the sites we passed en route. We were pleased that as a private group of three, we could cycle at our own pace. It was so enjoyable to have a few hours away from the throng of tourists in the city. We neither had to wait for others to catch up, nor had to cope with feeling we were holding others up. The tour was entirely tailored to us. It was great to learn about the water fountains, and to select our picnic lunch at a rural market. All the more delicious when we stopped along the way, with a glorious view of the mountains, to construct our sandwiches and tuck in. Heaven! Thank Musa, you for a lovely afternoon.
