Off season we had a great experience with the gladiator school. We basically received a private lesson for our two boys for two hours and Piero (aka Marcus Aurelius) was super engaging, entertaining, fully bought in and ya four boys totally sucked in to the gladiator school. It definitely helped that we had done the amphitheater Flavius tour two days prior and that we had watched most of the Gladiator movie. Constructive criticism would be to provide more info directly to clients so that they know what to expect: off the beaten path, out of town, down an unmarked road, in the woods and MANY mosquitos. My daughter and I were eaten alive for two hours as we watched the boys train to be gladiators.
Very enjoyable night learnt so much and pizza and pasta. Mersad was so informative which kept all our attention for the 4 hours. We all had a good laugh which is what it was all about for us. We received guides/recipes for the pizza and pasta we made so we can recreate them once we are home. 100% worth the money we paid would go again.
Roberto and Denise were very inviting. They made it fun for all! We’ve already scheduled another class. Our son hosts classes for bar tending and we’ve been involved in classes before and know how important it is to establish relationship early. There was no down time or filler. We loved it!
My partner and I really enjoyed this class! It was our first time making pizza from scratch and David took his time explaining it to us step by step. Highly recommend this class for anyone who wants to take a pizza making class in Rome!
Excellent, brief history lesson of the Roman military and gladiators. The lessons were a great introduction into the fighting of professional gladiators. There was no demonstration by other cast members, which was disappointing.
