These are just a few of the rooms you will discover as we take you deeper into the Vatican. You’ll then spend time with Michelangelo’s most famous masterpiece, the Sistine Chapel, where your guide will highlight the key details for you not to miss. Next your guide will then take you to St Peter’s Basilica, which is larger than the Statue of Liberty, so you can gaze up into its massive dome and see its iconic sculptures, mosaics and hidden details. The tour then ends in St. Peter’s Square, where the faithful gather to listen when the Pope appears. By the end, you’ll have heard about the key facts, history of the Vatican and understand how it has helped shaped the world we are in today. We took this tour in Aug 2021. Our guide was Maria Teresa. She was great and knowledgable. She's Italian.I think 3h tour was thorough enough to know the story and history of the Vatican. It did not feel rushed although a bit tiring almost to the end. We were lucky it wasn't too crowded. A bit confused finding the guide at meeting point. We were not aware that we were suppose to look for a specifix tour agent name instead of Get Your Guide. Could have been informed more clear

This is the second trip I used get your guide in Rome and I have to say I doubt there can be a better quality experience at this price. Our guide Alessandra had her own business “City Tours” and was friendly from the first moment that we met her. A historian by trade, it’s clear her love of her home city of Rome made her not only passionate about explaining the history of her birthplace, but also she did so in a way that made you excited to learn more also. With 30c and full sun she remained 100% focused throughout and made sure that nobody got left behind. When someone in the group disappeared she checked to make sure they were okay before continuing with the tour. We really felt we got the red carpet experience and Ale had so many tips about Rome and made us feel welcome to ask her questions about the city. It’s because of this experience that we will always book with get your guide in future. Thank you Ale and have a wonderful summer Gary and Asier x

This was our 2nd tour booked with this Company and it was fantastic, everything went so smoothly. Our guide, I apologise I have forgotten her name - remembered everybody’s name and where they had travelled from. The information she passed on was fantastic, she didn’t rush- infact our tour went over the 2 hours. Answered all questions that were asked and as the weather was so good advised us to go to the top of St Peter’s Dome. The views are definitely worth climbing the 551 steps!
