Stavanger: Waterfalls Rocks and Caves Cruise

1. Stavanger: Waterfalls Rocks and Caves Cruise

Experience the Norwegian fjords throughout a scenic sightseeing cruise. The Lysefjord and the Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) are some of the most impressive sights you will enjoy throughout this tour, as you enjoy nature at its best from the convenience of a boat. One of the first memorable sights will be the mysterious Vagabond's Cave, a gorgeous cove where dramatic cliffs surround an aqua-marine pool. As legend has it, the cave was named after a group of vagabonds who hid in the shelter for months trying to escape police. You will then head to the famous Pulpit Rock, a natural rock formation consisting of a steep cliff which rises 1,981 feet above Lysefjorden, opposite the Kjerag plateau. It also has an almost flat top of approximately 80 meters across. Throughout this exhilarating tour of memorable Lysefjord with its towering waterfalls, idyllic islands, and breathtaking scenery, you'll also visit wild goats at a summer pasture, and taste clear mountain water from the Hengjane Falls.

Look in the water for seals and porpoises and look to the sky for eagles! Once you arrive in Lysefjord there will be sevaral stops for you to capture with your camera or simply just take in the amazing scenery. The stops includes the Vagabond Cave, Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) and waterfalls! After about an hour the boat will turn around and head back to Stavanger. What people are saying about Rogaland

I had a great time, the boat was a great size, not too big and crowded but big enough to have room to move around. The organisation was brilliant and everything went like clockwork and they gave out announcements of sights of interest.

Nice experience and very nice views over the water and in the fjord. Perfect to do with your teenage kids if you're looking for a fun activity for them; with 400 hp engine and 65 knots over the water!

From the water you feel insignificant between these rocks. Beautiful landscapes, beautiful rocks. The Preikestolen seen from the boat was a bit disappointing, was smaller than I expected.

Absolutely awesome, a must do! Guides are great, friendly and made the experience unforgettable! Don’t miss the thrill and natural beauty!

Meeting point very easy to find, friendly guide, very good organization
