Stavanger: Waterfalls Rocks and Caves Cruise

1. Stavanger: Waterfalls Rocks and Caves Cruise

Experience the Norwegian fjords throughout a scenic sightseeing cruise. The Lysefjord and the Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) are some of the most impressive sights you will enjoy throughout this tour, as you enjoy nature at its best from the convenience of a boat. One of the first memorable sights will be the mysterious Vagabond's Cave, a gorgeous cove where dramatic cliffs surround an aqua-marine pool. As legend has it, the cave was named after a group of vagabonds who hid in the shelter for months trying to escape police. You will then head to the famous Pulpit Rock, a natural rock formation consisting of a steep cliff which rises 1,981 feet above Lysefjorden, opposite the Kjerag plateau. It also has an almost flat top of approximately 80 meters across. Throughout this exhilarating tour of memorable Lysefjord with its towering waterfalls, idyllic islands, and breathtaking scenery, you'll also visit wild goats at a summer pasture, and taste clear mountain water from the Hengjane Falls.

Enjoy a light snack as you take in the unobstructed views over a fjord formed by glaciers during the last Ice Age. What people are saying about Rogaland

It was simply an excellent kayak trip on the Lysefjord with Nordic Paddling. They were extremely competent and nothing was missing. We had a fantastic guide in Sebastian, who was always good for stories about the area and good advice on the water. We felt in the best hands while we were on the fjord, so we could just enjoy the fantastic nature. Many recommendations from here.

Very well organized tour. They picked us up on time, and the guide made sure that everyone was safe on the trail by giving useful tips on how to use the chains etc. This is a very difficult hike, so it is highly recommended that you engage this company to guide you on the hike. Even the drive to the Kjerag trailhead is quite difficult, and they took care of this as well.

Our Toa guide was very kind and explained the route to us at all times. As he was Argentine and we were Spanish, he spoke to us in Spanish, which we thanked him for. The day was not the best in terms of weather, for that reason I am much happier to have hired a guide for our excursion. If we had gone alone I do not know if I would have completed it

Fantastic nice trip. Disappointed with the price. Bought tickets online through Getyourguide for more than SEK 1300/per person. When we got there, the boat company in the harbor sold the same tour for 600 SEK/ per person. How can it make so much difference? Will henceforth buy tickets at the venue.

Really amazing experience, invaluable to have a guide!!
