We went with Dynamic Tours and overall had a good time. Pros: Great guide - fun, knowledgeable, and super friendly. We really enjoyed his story telling and seeing how the locals live. Highlights include the Aunty Sandy's Banana Bread, Coconut Glen's for its delicious coconut ice cream, Waiʻānapanapa State Park, Pāpalaua Wayside Park, and Palapala Ho‘omau Church. Cons: - It didn't appear the company took mask wearing seriously as our guide didn't wear his mask for the entire tour. Also, listening to another tour guide from the same company go on an anti-vaccine rant at one of the stops was alarming given the nature of this business which is to provide safety for all customers. - Our pick up was 40 mins late (we were first) and an hour late for the last pick up. We understand if there are delays, but not informing us of the delay beforehand is not good customer service. - The tour does not include the 7 Pools and the Bamboo Forest. Ask your guide if you can stop there and skip the bee

The self drive tour was excellent. We completed the west Maui tour and it was well worth it. It takes several hours, we started at 11am and ended at 7pm but we did not make all the stops because we got a late start plus we stopped at dt Fleming’s beach for a few hours. It’s the better of the 2 beaches on the tour. It has parking and the beach is huge. The other beach has no parking lot, you’ll have to park along the road then hike downhill to a small beach. The Audio guide was always on point. There is a stretch of road for a few mile in the mountain this is not for a nervous, new or unsteady driver, the road becomes very narrow with cliffs on one side and massive drop offs on the other side. The road only fits one vehicle although it’s NOT a one way. These are must see Dragon Tooth's trail DT Fleming’s Beach Nakalele blowhole.

Kammy was great. So much knowledge about Hawaii's history, not just Hana and the trip itself. I was so glad we decided to join a tour, as the drive looked very challenging. We hit all the highlights you'd expect on the Road to Hana: rainbow eucalyptus trees, breath-taking views, waterfalls and swimming holes, the black sand beach, and banana bread.

This was a long tour, but the lively commentary from our guide made the ride breeze by. The stops were nicely timed and gave us a chance to see the beauty of the area. We sped past some other stops that also looked nice, but given the length of the drive we would t have been able to stop much more than we did. Glad to not have driven on our own!

Amazing experience with the ability to Maui from breath taking perspectives that truly brings tears .... it’s a must! Next year bringing the kids to do this... it’s was honeymoon for us this time. They let us upgrade the day of and the pilot was attentive and ensured that all passengers had angles to see . Truly a must !!
