Day 1: Fez -Ifrane - Midelt - Ziz valley- Merzouga Today, on Fez desert tours 2 days Pick up 07.30 am from hotel/riad. Travel from Fez to the Merzouga desert. But; this is not an ordinary drive. We will stop along the way in a number of enjoyable destinations. Firstly, stop at Ifrane, the alpine-style townhome to ski slopes. Secondly, cedar forests are situated in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains to observe and feed the Barbary Monkey. After that, Moving to the popular pitstop of Midelt. ( break for lunch) Then, carrying on through the lush green Ziz Valley and making the last stop in Erfoud. Upon, arrival at Merzouga, transfer to the hotel to store your luggage. The camels will be waiting for you for a camel trekking experience (around 45 min) to enjoy the sunset on camelback to nomad tents where you will have dinner under the starry sky with a Berber folklore show (overnight desert camp). Day 2: Merzouga- Back to Fez Get up, early for the beckoning Erg Chebbi sunrise and deliciouse breakfast. Then prepare yourself to leave the camping to your distination fez with some stops on the way. (Break for lunch-on your own). Drop off. (Your hotel/riad Fez).

We will Pass through Rissani, visiting Zawiya Moulay Ali Ash-Sharif, dramatic Ziz Valley. In addition to, Damn Hassan Adakhal. ( break for lunch), visit family who lives in the cave at Immouzar. Finally, at the end drop off. (your hotel/riad Fez).

You will be met at the bus station or your hotel in Rissani or Merzouga, from there you will travel to a traditional Kasbah on the foot of the dunes of erg-chebbi. After a rest where you can enjoy some mint tea, a guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes of the erg-chebbi. You will enjoy the beauty of the sunset while you ride a camel. After one hour you will reach the desert camp where you will spend the night in a Berber tent. At your desert shelter, your camels are hobbled and mint tea is served. After a wonderful dinner, you can take time to watch the stars, before returning to your tent for the night.  The next morning, get up early to watch the sunrise which just behind the Algerian border. You will take a camel back to have a shower and rest. After you can enjoy free activities such as sand boarding, or activities at an extra cost such as quad riding. Later you will be dropped back off at your hotel or the bus station in Rissani or Merzouga.

Continue through the cedar forest of Azrou and look out for the resident monkeys before a drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Wind your way through the beautiful forests, mountain springs, jagged rocks, and Berber villages before your descent to the Sahara Desert. Stop for lunch half way in the town of Midelt, famous for its rocks and fossils. Then, continue towards Merzouga, taking in the panoramic views of a huge oasis of palm trees at Ziz along the way.   Upon arrival at Rissani, travel by 4WD vehicle into the desert, reaching Merzouga in the afternoon. Here, your guide will be waiting with the camels that will take you across the dunes to Erg Chebbi. Watch the sun set from the back on your camel on this 2-hour trek to a Berber camp. When you arrive at the desert shelter, your camels will be tethered as you are served a welcome mint tea. Enjoy dinner and relax as you look at the stars in the sky.   Day 2   Wake early and walk across the dunes to watch the sunrise from just behind the Algerian border, approximately 50 kilometers from Merzouga. Ride your camel back across the desert sands, take a shower, and enjoy breakfast before the trip back to Rissani. Return to Fes, taking lots of comfort stops along the 7-hour journey.

The route between Ouarzazate and Dades is also known as "The road of 1001 kasbahs". Upon arrival in Boumalen Dades, you will take a secondary road to pass the amazing landscapes of the Dades River, with various fortified Berber villages in the backdrop. Day 2:Dades Gorges - Tenghir - Todra Gorges - Tinjdad - Erfoud - Merzouga(Night in desert) :(4 hour drive). After enjoying your breakfast, get ready for an amazing journey that will be the highlight of your shared tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert. Your next stop will be at the oasis of Tinghir where you will have the opportunity to stroll along the stream in the shade of date palms. The walk will take you to the majestic cliffs of the Gorges of Toudra where you will have the opportunity to take some photos and enjoy the silence.You will continue to Rissani passing through various small towns, oases and ksoura (fortified villages). From here you can see the pink sand dunes approaching on the horizon. Upon arrival to Merzouga, you will meet your caravan and begin a one-hour camel ride over the Erg Chebbi sand dunes marveling at one of the best sunset views. You will continue your camel trek to your camp in the Sahara desert. A delicious Moroccan dinner will be served in the evening at your Bedouin camp and your nomadic hosts will entertain you around the campfire with their drums under the crystal clear sky. Overnight at your Merzouga desert camp. Day 3:Camel Trek back to Merzouga – Ouarzazate - Tichka pass2260m - Marrakech. Following an early-morning stroll before breakfast to enjoy sunrise among the sand dunes (optional), ride your camel back to Merzouga and meet your driver for the start of your return journey to Marrakech. Stop for lunch in Ouarzazate, then head onward through the spectacular scenery of the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive back at your Marrakech accommodation in the mid-evening to conclude your tour.
