1. From Pisa: Cinque Terre Small Group Tour

The Cinque Terre is one of Italy’s most beautiful destinations. Discover the picturesque villages scattered along a beautiful stretch of the Mediterranean coast. This tour dedicates a full day to discovering these charming fishing villages and the paths between them which offer a spectacular view of the Ligurian Coast. You will also marvel at the stone walls and terraces that villagers have created over the years for vineyards and olive trees. Travel to Riomaggiore where you will go by boat (weather permitting) to: Manarola, Vernazza, Monterosso. Riomaggiore is the most southern village of the Cinque Terre and its houses are built along the cliff face. Follow your tour escort for a walk around the village and then travel to pretty Manarola. Manarola is one of the oldest villages of the Cinque Terre. Explore the narrow alleys and pretty pastel squares that epitomize the beauty of the area. Vernazza is arguably the most beautiful of the five villages with a large open harbor, castle and church. Enjoy some free time to walk around and have a relaxing lunch (own expense) at one of the open-air restaurants that lines the waterfront, or take a stroll through the back streets for impressive views along the coast

2. From Montecatini: Full-Day Excursion to Cinque Terre

Enjoy a day of paradise, exploration, and discovery in Cinque Terre, one of the most beautiful, colorful coastal towns in the world, on this full-day excursion. Travel by luxury bus to and from Cinque Terre, a fast train between the towns, and by boat to the last town. Depart early in the morning to ensure a full day of exploration. Get dropped off via bus at the first village of Cinque Terre National Park or in the town of La Spezia. Travel alongside an expert tour leader as you hop between towns. First, stop in Manarola. You may recognize it since it has gained fame from its incredible views. Spend plenty of time exploring the old town, taking photos at the panoramic viewpoints, and dipping your toes into the sparkling water. Next, take a 10-minute train ride to Vernazza. The harbor feels like a step back in time, where you can enjoy views of the emerald water, colorful buildings, and children playing. Take a stroll through the alleyways and artisanal stores before heading to the next town. Stop in Monterosso, about another 10 minutes away by train. Spend some time relaxing under the sun, swimming in the crystal blue water, and exploring the old town. After enjoying lunch in a typical restaurant (optional), head toward the last stop of the day, Riomaggiore, on a scenic cruise along the Cinque Terre coastline. Admire the unique perspective of the high cliffs, blue water, and brightly colored villages from the sea. Explore the local streets and shops before heading back to Montecatini via bus.

What people are saying about Riomaggiore

This was the highlight of my month Europe trip. The staff is so professional and they make it a personal experience. I’ve done Nepali coast tours in Hawaii and this experience was even better. I highly recommend you book the 4 hour boat tour

Marta was a FANTASTIC tour guide! We had time to visit nearly every village, with ample time to explore, shop and eat throughout the day. Extremely informative, punctual and beautiful photo opportunities!

Very nice sea trip with the added bonus of dolphin company. Very friendly staff. Stage in Monterosso a bit too short. Maybe stop in another village.

Fantastic, very friendly, attentive guide, spoke English, Spanish and Portuguese. Which made our tour even better.

Great tour options, train ride to different area of cinco Terra and boat ride was awesome
