1. Manaus: 2, 3 or 4-Day Amazon Jungle Tour in Anaconda Lodge

Spend 2, 3 or 4 days in the Amazon, the world’s largest river basin and the source of 1/5 of all free-flowing fresh water on Earth. Its rain forests are the planet’s largest and most luxuriant and are remarkably home to 1 in 10 known species on Earth. Containing nearly 40,000 plant species, the Amazon sustains the world’s richest diversity of birds, freshwater fish, and butterflies. One of the world’s last refuges for jaguars, harpy eagles, and pink dolphins, its thousands of tree species are home to southern two-toed sloths, pygmy marmosets, and Goeldi’s monkeys. You can choose between private cabins with fan or air conditioning to enjoy the most of this Amazonian adventure. Jungle Lodge Anaconda Island Inn is 30 km from Manaus, a 1.5-hour drive by speedboat. The Lodge is on the banks of the Rio Negro and has a guest lounge, swimming pool, restaurant, accommodating up to 25 guests. Packages include accommodation, round trip transfer from Manaus, all meals included (full board) and bilingual guided activities as outlined below. What people are saying about Rio Negro

It was absolutely amazing! The tour was exactly as it's been promised n even better. The weather was ok in the beginning but as it seemed that is going to change I asked my guide Milto, I believe his name, to start from the dolphins as that was and my priority and he agreed. In general the guide was very informative, flexible, calm n fluent jn English! He didn't mind to extend the 4 hours that the tour was supposed to take and drive us as smooth as possible through the waves because on our way back there was a storm. I totally recommend the tour with this guide who actually is running a private business in Amazon so he knows how to treat tourists.

This entire experience was wonderful! The staff at the Anaconda Lodge and the tour guides provided superb service and guidance during all activities. They knew exactly where to find all the animals so that we could get up close and personal with them. Our guide, Fabio, was a wealth of knowledge and was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this experience, this made my visit to Brazil incredible and unforgettable!

Traveling to the lodge was an adventure in itself. Boat, followed by a ride in a old, but reliable VW van, followed by another hour-long boat ride through the rain forest. Our guide, Kennedy, was knowledgeable and insightful. We really enjoyed a peaceful, pre-dawn, boat ride on the lake with time to listen to jungle sounds including, numerous birds and haunting howler monkeys.

We had a really great time. The tour was very diverse, fun and adventurous and we the guides were very knowledgable and made the tour the perfect experience. Definitely recommend it.

An amazing opportunity to see the Amazon on a guided organized tour
