Worthwhile few hours, chance to see what goes on behind the scenes: If not in Rio for the carnival, an opportunity to better understand the 'Carnival Process', along with a bit of fun putting on carnival costumes. You are in Rio to be a tourist: This was fun and interesting and supports the local community.

We had a really nice evening with Bruno! First we had a samba class for a about 1 hour, where he showed us major moves and poses of samba, then we went to a samba club with live band playing. We had a table right next to the band. We danced samba there. Everything and the whole evening were perfect!

Genuine experience. You get to know a lot about samba and carnival! Totally with the price, all the funds are distributed to an NGO.

It was so interesting and super fun! We want to come back to participate in Carnival next year!

Good backstage information about the carnival and history associated with it…good fun too
