Complete tour for those who want to see as much as possible with only one day available. We got off the ship, at the exit of the port we found Mr. Aldo (to whom our warm thanks goes) who accompanied us by taxi to reach the other tour participants and on the way gave us, in Italian, a lot of news and useful information. In the morning we were taken to the Sugar Loaf and the Cathedral with an Italian speaking guide and we were also provided with an audio guide. After lunch (included) we were aggregated to another tour to go to Corcovado and the Selaron stairway (unfortunately in this second part the guide spoke in English, although he understood Italian) and then from there a taxi, called by the guide, brought back near the port. Some organizational flaws in the afternoon tour and in the return to the port (the taxi driver was not able to take us back to the port, but left us nearby).

Unfortunately we have not visited the Maracana stadium or the Selaron staircase, although according to GetYourGuide this would be included. The price is incredibly expensive. Better to do everything on your own and save at least 50%.

Great in the morning, hop in the afternoon

Thanks to the great tour guide, we really enjoyed the morning and the lunch was good. Then the disillusionment. The combination of the two half-day tours (morning and afternoon tour) had a very unfavorable effect. There were significant delays in the process. But the worst part was the tour guide. He looked disorganized, hectic and unable to cope with the group. Only after a clear request were explanations given outside the bus in English. So far we have only had good experiences with the tour guides of the tours booked through GYG. This gentleman is not worthy of GYG. Unfortunately I don't remember the name anymore, but I can tell that for sure. When grading: five stars in the morning, two in the afternoon
