Once at the summit, look out at Guanabara Bay, the districts of Ipanema and Leblon, São Conrado, the Barra Tijuca and the Serra dos Orgaos region. Catch your breath before starting your descent. Return to the base of Pedra da Gávea via Carrasqueira. Descend using techniques similar to your climb. Rappel down the rocks as your guide keeps control of the equipment for your safety. Absolutely AMAZING hike !!! I highly recommend this experience and the Thiago guide! He was lovely and professional with us, my wife and me. The hike is quite complex overall. There are well inclined walls. But do not panic! If you have a good guide, you don't have to be athletic to get by! With a little attention you will find in the forest, monkeys, birds of all kinds and magnificent plants! And finally, the grail, a breathtaking view of the 3 beaches (Copacabana, Ipanema and São Conrado)! And with a little luck, you will be able to see Christ in the distance if the sight is favorable to you!

you live the forest

the path is not short, but feasible, the guide has been patient and waits for everyone to do it, in short, with a little good will you get to the top and the panoramic show is rewarding, we have not entered the cave because there is seemed too reckless to climb with the ropes, we are not professional climbers and it took a little fear.

Highly Recommended!

But not for families with slippers. Is not a Sunday stroll. But absolutely recommendable not to take the 'easy' tourist route.

The tour immersive and absolutely breathtaking.

My guide was absolutely amazing. He was very informative and helpful. I couldn’t of asked for a better guide!

Excellent day out
