Guna was an exceptional hostess and guide. We tasted items that we most likely would never have tried....smoked meats, fish, Balsam (a traditional alcoholic drink), Kvass (a fermented malt soft drink....non-alcoholic), cheeses, pickled vegetables, and more!! Truly a spectacular tour for the price!! We always enjoy food tours of the local market....it gives us an idea of the culture of the people through their food. The Riga Central Market is one of the largest markets in Europe, enclosed in several old Zeppelin aircraft hangers....so, this is a must see site!

We thought the tour was absolutely excellent, we got to try very good food and drink and the guide was very nice, caring and knowledgeable!

This was an excellent tour of the huge Central Market. There were lots of samples. The guide was very organized. Highly recommend!

Professional guide, more food than expected. Nice balance between talking and eating, interesting facts. Great value for money.
