The butterfly valley is fabulous. We arrived the first and we can see thousends of butterflies flying. It's very important to be the firsts!! Chalki is a nice place, a very quiet island whith good beach. I was prefered that de guide would explain something more, because she didn't explain nothing, only de timetable of the day.

The organization of the day is perfect. We may regret the absence of explanations in French even though we are numerous in the excursions, it is very surprising! Otherwise the timing is good, visiting the valley of the butterflies in the early morning is a plus because there are few people and it leaves time to appreciate the site. For the rest, the island of Chalki is simply extraordinary in beauty and charm. We would stay much longer to enjoy the calm and crystal clear waters.

I start with the bad, I booked for a guide in French and I finally did not have it, too bad I probably missed important information on the island. luckily the guide did her best to help me understand in English. and second negative point the visit time is really short in Chalki it would take more time. No butterfly at the beginning of June but we knew the walk in the mid-mountain mid-forest is still worth it. and to finish the best, Symi's little sister is magnificent, nothing to say about her tranquility. Huge positive point the island is less touristy and therefore much more pleasant to visit. Compulsory passage, meals and swimming at Ftenagia Beach. you will thank me later
