Fantastic! Volli was an excellent guide and driver and very accommodating to our small group of 7. The area had beautiful natural parks, rock formations, beaches, the Black Church, coastal walks and Islantic horses! My husband and zi enjoyed it immensely! Thank you Volli!!!

I enjoyed this tour. The country side is breathtaking as we drove between stops. The guide gave us the option to eat on the bus so we could add a stop at a volcano crater. It was worth it! I much prefer that to wasting time to stop and eat. I can go to a restaurant anytime, how often do you get to see a volcano crater surrounded by a lava field? I also liked the lava cave, but you should be warned that it’s close to freezing down there all year round. The only thing we missed was getting to see the seals, but I suppose the tour guide can’t control the wildlife We visited the golden circle, and the south shore before doing this excursion. At first I was wondering if it would be worth it but I got to see amazing rock formations that weren’t anywhere else. I found the Iceland has a lot of variety all within a couple hours of the capital. Thanks Artic Adventures!

Our guide, Emily, was fantastic! She had a litany of interesting stories and anecdotes to share with us on this very long day. We were very fortunate to have remarkably beautiful weather, which helped enhance the experience. We had more than enough time to enjoy every stop on the itinerary, there were a sufficient number of toilet breaks and Emily very clearly communicated how long it would be in between each break. The scenery itself was spectacular - we opted not to do the optional caving experience, and instead spent time roaming around by the lighthouse, which was delightful. The west coast is very different and I recommend people take the trip to see it. I specifically recommend this tour and Emily in particular!
