Great experience!!! If this iscyour first time, I highly recommend you this tour. If you are lucky maybe you can visit an ice cave as we did with Trym! He was fun, helpful and natural at the glacial walking. If you have done it before somewhere, I’d go for the 5h instead.

    Amazing but challenging

Tour was a one-in-lifetime experience. Although my partner and I work out regularly, the walk to and hike up to the glacier proved to be challenging. The tour takes approximately 3hrs so I would consider this if fitness level is not ok/good. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained origin of glaciers, moulins, and let us fill our water bottles with fresh glacier water!

Great, but a shame about the crowds

I went with Troll Expeditions and my guide was Jessica. We had a few problems with other guests being late and childish (the difficult ones were all over 50). So that delayed us, but I gave this trip 5 stars because of Jessica! She was a great guide and did everything she could to try and make the trip enjoyable for the ones who weren't messing around. My advice would be to pay more and try to go in a smaller group (4-6) to avoid the idiots. But then this was my experience with the other tour I did in Iceland too. It's an expensive country, but worth spending extra to get the most out of it
