Full description
If you are a nature lover, then this tour is made for you. It visits all the great attractions of the south coast, glaciers, the Black Beach of Reynisfjara, Eyjafjallajökull glacier volcano and of course, several of the beautiful waterfalls. The highlight of the tour is a Blue Ice Glacier Hike on Solheimajokull glacier which takes around 1.5-hours. Start by visiting the two great waterfalls of the south coast, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, as well as visiting lesser-known, more secret waterfalls Glufrabui, Kvernufoss and Irafoss. As you continue, drive under the great Eyjafjallajökull glacier volcano and the Mýrdalsjökull glacier cap, where you will take a glacier hike for about 1.5-hours and have a closer look at the Solheimajokull glacier. A bit further will be the great Reynisfjara Black Beach, where the sea crashes upon black sands and hexagonal basalt columns and rock stacks tower over the surroundings. In one day, see two volcanoes and discover five amazing waterfalls, visit Reynisfjara and get up-close and personal with the sleeping ice giants that are glaciers during the glacier hike. A perfect tour for the curious tourist and the inquisitive nature lover. This tour is available all year. Reserve it now to secure your spot on this South Iceland Tour. Awesome experience all around. Beautiful warerfalls, landscapes and black sand beaches. The glacier hike was definitely the highlight for me. Sightseeing is great and all but is was nice to mix in alittle action. The glacier hike was easy but not ridiculously easy. If your elderly or have any serious knee or leg issues you may want to rethink the hike. Our guide was Skuli (looks just like the red-bearded wildling from GOT..hope he doesn’t take offense to that lol). He was awesome! Extemely knowledgeable regarding Iceland. Very professional, friendly and more than willing to answer any questions. Iceland is my new favorite country! I’ll be back

Best day I had in Iceland

The tour was very well organized, if you have only one day to spend in Iceland, this tour is very worth as it goes to the most beautiful waterfalls, the black beach and the glacier. The guide was excellent and he was trying his best to let us visit the last waterfall with the sunset light and he was very knowledgeable. The hike was very funny and safe. I appreciated that we stopped in the company's hostel to have a coffee in the morning and a nice lamb soup in the evening before heading to Reykjavik.

The glacier hike was the highlight. Even drank glacier water the ‘Viking way’. Guides were knowledgeable and explained how to go about the hike very well. The hike was exciting & fun. The south coast waterfalls & black beach are amazingly beautiful. My personal favourite one was the hidden waterfall- Gljúfrabúi. Highly recommend the tour
