Full description
Discover the extraordinary sights and natural wonders of Iceland’s geothermal Geysir area, and see active geysers and cascading waterfalls along the way. The tour starts at Geysir where you can see spouting hot springs, including the most active geyser in Iceland Strokkur. Continue across the torrid landscape to Gullfoss, where you can stand next to an amazing waterfall as enormous quantities of water tumble violently into a deep, meandering gorge. Spend some time exploring a cross-section of Iceland's natural wonders and geological phenomena at Thingvellir National Park, an area of such historic and geological significance it was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2004. Learn about the open-air assembly of Althing and how the landscape was husbanded over 1,000 years. See the dramatic fissures and rifts in the landscape caused by dramatic volcanic activity throughout history.

We had an amazing time on our half day golden circle coach tour. Our guide Herschal was kind, funny and gave the best tour I've been on in a long time. Told us lots of random facts about Iceland and facts about the volcanoes, geysirs and the waterfalls. Very knowledgeable. I would love to return and have him as out guide again!

Excellent tour and perfect for those who only have the afternoon. It didn’t feel rushed at all and the three sites we saw were all fantastic. Well organised and great tour guide. Lots of interesting facts along the route as well as plenty of time to switch off and relax.

it was good day out. sit on the right hand side of the bus so you can take pics of the beautiful sites/landscapes. first cafe hot chocolate was well nice the second and 3rd cafe hot chocolate I didn't like I don't know why it tasted different but the chocolate cake in the 3rd was well nice so that's a must for the chocolate lovers. it's cold on the face in the winter so buy something to cover the face. definitely a must even tho our tour guide was boring and I felt like falling asleep due to no excitement in the voice and alot of ermmms but still good and defo worth the money :)..
