Full description

Explore the natural treasures of Iceland on a full-day bus tour of the Golden circle. See the Gullfoss Waterfall and explore Þingvellir National Park. Travel in comfort and enjoy audio commentary on the bus.

Arrive at Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and birthplace of the oldest existing parliament in the world. This is also the site where the tectonic plates of America and Eurasia have pulled apart, creating a rift valley on the shores of Iceland’s largest lake. Visit the Geysir Hot Springs, home to the original geyser and Iceland’s most iconic natural attraction. Here, the ground trembles and steaming hot water spouts spectacularly skyward from the famous Strokkur Geyser every few minutes. Take a leisurely walk down to Gullfoss Waterfall, an awesome sight to behold. A powerful glacial river cascades down 2 levels for 32 meters with a thunderous roar into a narrow canyon. Board a new bus equipped with WiFi and connected computer tablets at each seat. On the tablet, you’ll be able to use the GPS-sensitive audio guide (available in several languages) to get to know about Iceland and the places you visit on the tour. There will be a host on board, happy to answer any questions you might have about the country. Each seat is equipped with a USB charger.

Really good day. Wish we could have spent more time. Did spend a long time on the bus but enjoyed the scenery. Blue lagoon was a perfect end. Our guide (Laura) was excellent, informative but didn’t talk none stop. Wish vouchers had been clearer/separate as confusing at Blue lagoon and the transfer back to drop off wasn’t clear. Overall an excellent day and really good way to experience Iceland in so little time.

Nice helpful guide and a beautiful tour. I wish there would have been a restroom stop at the Secret Lagoon. We were stopped long enough there to have been able to go. 2.5 hours with no restroom break is much too long (trip back to Reykjavik from Gullfoss). Otherwise all was good.

Easy way to see the big sights in the Reykjavik area - and the local guide and her personal stories really helped to get a sense of the area and what it’s like to live there. Blue Lagoon is a must for anyone who likes hot springs, and was the perfect way to cap off our visit. Worth every penny.
