Although not the easiest to book with Get Your Guide (I found that booking with another tour company was easier), the day of the transfer went very smooth. The shuttle arrived at our hotel on time and then took us to the bigger bus which took us to the Blue Lagoon. The driver was very friendly.

The journey went perfectly well! Attention: be at the meeting point on time. In our case, a minibus came to pick us up at station 8 (30 min before departure) to take us to the place where the buses leave for the lagoon! I insist be at the meeting point 30 min before the scheduled departure time and remember to keep your phones with you in case they contact you!

The buses are nice, with wi-fi, and they transfer you to a smaller shuttle that will bring you near your hotel. Minus 1 star because there is no signage at the Blue Lagoon telling you when/where the bus is. There are several buses around from many different companies, and at first I got on the wrong one.
