Pickup begins 30 minutes prior to the tour start time. Please be ready and on the lookout for a green Smartbus. As each driver usually has a few stops to make, it can take up to 30 minutes to finish the pickup service; there is no need to worry if the bus is not there exactly on time. Pickup is available from most hotels, hostels, and guesthouses. In the city center, some areas are restricted to buses, and therefore buses can only stop at nearby bus stops. In one word I would describe this tour as wonderful. The Golden Circle tour was a must for me whilst visiting Iceland. I was happy with the sites we visited and we got to explore each site in good time. Beforehand, I wasn’t sure about which lagoon to visit but I’m so glad I chose the Blue Lagoon. It’s just as beautiful as the photos and not crowded. I also got a mud mask with a drink (I chose prosecco) which was perfect. I highly recommend this tour. Some advise: be prepared because it is a long day and remember to be on time for the buses! We unfortunately missed the 8am tour ( as we confused the 7.30am pickup). However, the activity provider was very helpful and found space for us on the 10am tour that day.

The tour was excellent! Our guide and the driver did their jobs wonderfully. However, the service description must include the information that they're really two tours, one to the Golden Circle and after to the Blue Lagoon. Since the Blue Lagoon and its facilities close at 9 pm, from my point of view, it doesn't make sense to put a bus at 10:15 pm. Also, doesn't makes any sense to me the prohibition of eating and drinking on the bus due to possibly someone's allergies. Since the breaks are short, eating and drinking during the travel between the attractions is always the best option.

Full day tour to get the highlights close to Reykjavik. Went in Feb 2023 when it had snowed. Made scenery great! You’ll get picked up by minibus in the town and then dropped off at Bus Terminal for a bigger coach. First stop was a visit to Thingvellir to see the American / European tectonic plates. Very interesting, then onto the geysers which we loved and then on to an impressive waterfall. Then if you do the blue lagoon you’ll get on another minibus to get onto another coach! Our tour guide Darren (and Hemi the driver, hats off for the safe driving in the snowy conditions!) were great, lots of interesting facts about Iceland culture, environment, lifestyle etc. Darren was very relaxed and made the trip comfortable and enjoyable. Blue Lagoon was highlight of the trip, even the drive up towards it is impressive, alien landscape! We spent 3 hours at blue lagoon and had enough time for something to eat too. Bus leaves 15 mins past each hour. Total trip 13.5 hours but well worth it!
