  • Hike up Sólheimajökull Glacier
  • Visit Skógarfoss waterfall
  • Enjoy the magical Seljalandsfoss
Full description
Journey to Seljalandsfoss waterfall where you get the chance to walk behind the 60-meter fall. There will definitely be drizzle behind the breathtaking waterfall, so put on your rain gear and get your cameras ready! The adventure continues at Skógarfoss waterfall, a powerful 60-meter drop from what used to be coastline. You can enjoy the beautiful view from above after running up the 527 steps that lead to the top. Skógarfoss was a filming location for the Secret Life of Walter Mitty and Thor: The Dark World as well as several music videos. On the iconic black sand beach discover magnificent basalt columns as well as the rock pillars named Reynisdrangar. Be sure to watch out for the unpredictable sneaker waves while enjoying the magical view of the beach and Dyrhólaey cliffs in the distance. Between June and August you can enjoy the company of hundreds of puffins that like to nest in the columns. Last but not least, get geared up with the necessary safety equipment to hike up one of Iceland's most scenic glaciers on the South Coast, where you can see the fast melting ice formations and learn about the ancient geology and environmental importance of this area.

It was a great experience. I was the only one on this trip but they did it so i had a privat tour. The guide was great. It was more like travelling with a friend then with a guide. We had a lot of fun and I learned so much about the culture and the people

"Luke icewalker" was an excellent guide. You could hear his voice to the back. He played music between the information about Iceland. it was perfectly even. sadly we lost him for the glacier haik and got Michael instead. He was good though during the glacier haik! Unfortunately not as good on the way back in the bus. There was no music between his stories and you couldn't hear him probably to the back, so I stopped listening because it was so tering trying to understand what he said... during the day there was no time for proper lunch so it would have been nice to know, so you could bring snack with you. overall best trip. :)

Great tour The hike is a bit much 2hrs total so if out of shape or any medical impairments id reconsider. Also lunch & restroom breaks are short so prepare for a long day. The views are beautiful & transportation is nice. Tour guide was really nice & killed those glaciers at 65 years old!!
