Full description
Book a private day or sunset sailboat trip to the caldera of Santorini and discover the beauty of the Aegean Sea in a completely different way. Enjoy the sun and sea breeze as you venture to spots like the Red Beach and Black Mountain. The day cruise offers you a unique chance to admire Santorini's beauty under the full sun, and to set sail in the deep blue waters of the island starting from the Red Beach. Stop for a swim, then continue for photo-shooting at the White Beach. Enjoy a swim in the hidden coves of the Black Mountain at the southern part of the island, then enter the caldera just below the Venetian Light House. Sail across the cliff and head towards the volcanic hot springs. Once anchored, a delicious lunch is served on board with wine. Savour seafood, chicken fillet, grilled sausages, traditional Greek delicacies and dips, veggie rice, Greek salad, and dessert before continuing the adventure. Opt for the sunset cruise to enjoy all of the same features as the day cruise but under the impressive beauty and colours of the sunset. The experience on this boat was absolutely incredible! The day started with a hotel pick up and a trip down the cable car in Thira to meet the sailboat. We started by sailing around the volcanic islands and learned about their geological history. We then took a swim there (beware—the volcanic sulfur will stain a light swimsuit forever!) where the water was toasty warm. We then visited Therasia island and finished with lunch and another swim under the cliffs of Oia. Several things to note 1) the team that operates the boat is incredible…friendly, attentive but easy-going, and fantastic sailors, 2) lunch was delicious and fresh and accompanied by beer and wine throughout the trip, 3) we ACTUALLY sailed, which added excitement to the day that I don’t think one would get on some other vessels, and learned about sailing. We were on our honeymoon and this was perfectly intimate. Would also be great for a family/small group. Cannot recommend any higher!

We hired a private boat as a family of 4 and everything was exceptional from start to finish. A private minibus picked us up promptly at the time stated from our villa and took us to the port where we were met by the Captain and his first mate. We were served a delicious lunch and bottomless drinks. We stopped for a swim at White Beach, Red beach and the Caldera springs. The crew were informative and courteous. I would definitely recommend a private boat trip with Caldera Yachting if you visit Santorini
