Extremely well prepared guide. Wonderful speaker,
The tour was listed as 2 hours staring at 11:00am. We started late. The guide said it was 2.5 hours. We had another tour at Glasnevin at 2:30. We thought we would have 1.5 hours to get there. The guide went over his time but he was great! We missed his last part about the famine and took a taxi to Glasnevin, had a quick bite at the cafe there. We were sorry to miss the end of his tour. Create more space between tours.
The tour was brilliant, educational and easily walkable with short bursts rather than long stretches. Tom our guide was amazing, we were hooked on his every word for the whole 2 hours.
So informative & interesting from Donal. Would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in the history & architecture of Dublin & of Irish politics from an historical perspective
