We have been wanting to do this for many years and we are so glad we finally had the opportunity to do so. Would recommend highly, lovely to see such an iconic vessel in action and glad it has been so fully supported and able to continue to sail under steam. Hope this never changes. The scenery is beautiful. Next time will hopefully be able to add to the journey and hop off and enjoy what the Walter Peak farm has to offer.

Excellent viewing and service by the staff. Stunning scenery and we were not put off by the strong cold wind which meant the majority of passengers stayed indoors and allowed us good access for photos. The walkway access to the overhead viewing of the engine room was a pleasant surprise.

It was an amazing cruise across lake wakatipu, we didnt have the whole day to do the BBQ experience but that looked like fun. We got to the boat a little late so it meant we did not get a seat on the top floor we had to sit down by the engine which was cold but still nice, so i suggest getting there early so you can get a nice table upstairs by the cafe.
