Sensational experience of a lifetime. Highly recommended. The scenic flight to Milford Sounds was exceptional & a must see. The cruise on the sounds was such a special time with a very informative commentary. The sounds is certainly the 8th wonder of the world & every kiwi needs to visit this sacred part of our beautiful country. The flight back to Queenstown was yet another priceless experience. Can’t say enough about this experience. The extra cost for the scenic flight was worth every cent & I will be raving about our trip to the Milford sounds for many years to come. We went well prepared. Scout moto, “Be Prepared”. Take: Warm clothes. Raincoat/windbreaker, Towel & insect repellent. Also Take your lunch as there is limited food outlets at the sounds. A beanie is better then a cap, depending on the wind & a light backpack is better then a bag. Full phone/camera battery with plenty of space for pics & vids. (I needed a bit of extra charge. Too many vids. No internet reception.

My wife and I had one of the best scenic flight with Glenorchy Air here in Queenstown. We booked the 80 Minutes Milford Sound Scenic Flyover and got a bonus when our very friendly and accommodating Pilot Ian Anderson told us that instead of a flyover at Milford Sound, we will be making a landing and picking up some hikers back to Queenstown, which we are ok with. The flight from Queenstown to Milford Sound was so picturesque as we flew above mountain lakes, lush rain forests, snow covered mountains & glacier. We will definitely do the Milford Sounds Scenic Flyover again next time we are in Queenstown again. A big thank you to Pilot Ian Anderson, Mikaela and Jasmine of Glenorchy Air for the memorable experience. Felix & Evelyn Auckland, NZ

Had a blast of an experience. Travelling with 2 oldies 86 years isn’t easy but from arrangements to pickup then journey out to Milford sounds and back was just free and pleasant. Driver was absolutely adorable with great knowledge of the Maori culture and the juicy catamaran was so smooth sailing, Without fail got to see dusky dolphins and seals bathing Will do this again

This was such a fabulous trip. The bus driver couldn’t have been more friendly, more informative and continually informed us of “what was happening next”. The Captain on the boat was awesome too, very professional yet personable in how he delivered his information. These two men really made it a wonderful experience for me - Thankyou.

Really enjoyed it and the guide was great. Highly reccomend
