Full description
Begin your visit at the cable car station and ride up to the top of the falls. You will see dazzling views of the falls, park cove, and Île d’Orléans. Once at the top, the suspension bridge is a must-see. It is suspended directly over the falls so you can feel the water roaring beneath your feet. There are also a number of trails where you can enjoy the fresh air, peace and quiet, and beauty of the park.  Take advantage of the complimentary Parc de la Chute-Montmorency booklet, which helps you discover the route of the panoramic circuit. Stop at various magnificent lookout points to observe the cascading waters of the falls plunging into the St. Lawrence River. Learn about the historical and geological characteristics of the park and waterfall. At the bottom, there is a concrete promontory, which is an ideal place to enjoy being splashed by spray from the waterfall and to feel all its cascading might. In winter months, the fine splashes projected by the waterfall eventually freeze and form at the foot of the falls. The famous Sugarloaf is a very impressive natural ice cone.

You MUST have been there when visiting Quebec. It is not only the waterfall that is impressive, but the entire nature park "around it". Even at the star from the cable car, there is a beautiful view, a walk in the park and the stairs offer further options. You should allow enough time (2 hours) to stroll through the waterfall and through the park and to enjoy the changing view from the landing.

Unfortunately there was some construction happening and the access to the bottom was a very long way back up. Some of the staff did not seem to enjoy their jobs much. When asked for directions to enter cable car, the group reservation desk was very rude and just words were exchanged. The cable car operators said hello and were polite but could have smiled at least vs. looking bored and uninterested in life. Excuse the rating for transportation... we drove not on a tour...I could not change this. The activity was easy to find.

We loved the Falls.

Booking the cable car ride was easy. I showed my mobile voucher at the drive-in entrance and they gave us our wristbands. The voucher includes parking. We went at 9am and it was peaceful and we only saw a few people. When we took our return ride down at 11am the parking lot was full. Go early! It’s a much better experience.
