It was a wonderful trip to swim with the rays and nurse sharks. Whether the animals are kept humanely is another matter... At least they live in their natural environment and not in a pool. There was plenty of food and drink for free....You could get a free massage and pretty much do whatever you wanted... And the photos with the rays were pretty good too $15 isn't much for that....

We snorkeled for the first time. After a bit of practice it worked fine. My husband was very convinced and thought the whole trip was great. However, there was not a single guide on site who could speak German, and we also had difficulty understanding the crew's English, which made communication difficult at times. The sharks were very admirable however the sharks and stingers are kept in a small fenced off compartment which is a shame. Some tourists then took photos with the rays (guides took the rays out of the water and took photos in the air), which we didn't find very animal-friendly either (but it's in the description). The food was just ok (two slices of pineapple, a piece of coconut and nachos). It was clearly stated here that there are no longer just these small pieces of fruit for anyone.

We had a really nice day. But they were a bit kinked that we didn't see the sharks. This was mainly due to the fact that the sand was churned up by the waves and the underwater visibility was very poor! Unfortunately, it's a shame, but the organizer can't do anything about that.
