Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Titicaca and visit the floating islands of Uros. The inhabitants of the lake are referred to as the Water Tribe and have built their own islands with a local type of sugarcane. Their homes and boats are also made from this material. The next stop is Taquile Island, inhabited by Quechua speakers who have developed unique and effective social systems and hand-weaving techniques. Stop for a typical lunch in the village of Taquile. Take a walk through the hills and archaeological sites of this 6-kilometer-long island before returning to Puno by boat.

Day 1 Meet your driver at the bus terminal in Cusco in the evening and board your overnight bus to Puno. Day 2 After a night on the road, arrive in Puno in the morning. Transfer to your hostel where you can leave your bags for the day. Next, take the boat out to the Uros Islands for a guided tour of the famous floating reed islands. Enjoy a cruise through the highest navigable lake in the world to reach the remote island of Taquile. Depart from Puno on the first day of the tour and head to the floating islands of Uros and marvel at the stunning scenery all around. Next, enjoy a 3-hour motorboat journey to the Amantani island and see local families running down the hill to welcome you. Meet your designated host family and immerse yourself in their traditional culture and way of life. Enjoy a typical lunch with the family made from natural local products and participate in intercultural activities until dinner time. After dinner, watch a traditional show with your family before spending the night at their home. On day two of the tour start with an early breakfast with your host family. After an emotional goodbye, it's time to depart to Taquile Island a traditional Quechua speaking community, located at the heart of the Lake Titicaca. Admire the beautiful harbor of Taquile and then walk up along a narrow path to the center of the island. Along the walk, gaze upon the breathtaking natural landscapes including the nearby Bolivian mountain range. Once you arrive at the top of the hike, listen to your local guide share stories and anecdotes about traditional life on Taquile. Later on, enjoy some free time to wander around and explore then relax at a local restaurant for lunch. Finally, descend to the harbor and hop aboard the boat back to Puno.

Stay overnight in Puno and savor some tasty local cuisine along the way. Day 1: Cusco to Puno with stops Get picked up from your hotel and head to the tourist bus station for Puno. During the trip, enjoy a suite of exciting stops at different tourist centers and attractions. Begin with a 35-minute tour of the Temple of Andahuaylillas Sistine Chapel of America and prepare to be amazed. Later, explore the Archaeological Complex of Raqchi, before arriving at Sicuani where you can sit for a buffet lunch in the restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the pretty Paso la Raya, hemmed in by snow-capped mountains. Explore the Pucara Lithic Museum. Check in to your hotel in Puno. Day 2: Puno, Uros, Taquile, Cusco Your second day will start early with hotel pickup and transfer to the Port of Puno. Board your boat and head to Uros where you will participate in a cultural demonstration that will allow you to discover the Uros way of life. Visit the Taquile Islands and get to know the local culture. Take a lovely 1-hour walk packed with amazing photo opportunities. Break for lunch in the afternoon at a restaurant in town, where you can sample local favorites like quinoa soup or fresh fried fish from the lake. Return to the main port of Taquile and then to your hotel in Puno in the late afternoon to have dinner on your own. Get picked up and driven to the bus station in Puno. The bus will leave for Cusco at 10:00 PM and arrive at 5:00 AM the next morning. You can then take a taxi back to your hotel.

One of the first ethnic groups in the Andean region, the Uro people built their homes and livelihoods on floating islands made from reeds. Tour the islands by boat before stopping off at Taquile to meet the locals and enjoy a traditional lunch on the lake.  The adventure starts with hotel pick up from central Puno at 7:00 AM. Drive to the shores of the lake before hopping in a boat for the 1.5-hour journey to Taquile. Ride in comfort on a fast boat with an experienced guide. Restrooms are available onboard and along the way you'll enjoy stunning views of the lake. Upon arrival at Taquile, enjoy a 1-hour walk around the island. Day 1: Uros and Amantani  On this tour to Amantani, Uros and Taquile Islands, you will be picked up from your hotel in the downtown area and driven to the port, where you will board a comfortable motor boat. Your guide (Spanish/ English) will take you to the Uros Floating Islands (30 minutes travel) before reaching Amantani (approximately 2.5-hours) by midday, where Amantani families will be waiting for you. Walk (30 minutes uphill) to the local houses in Amantani and have lunch based on Andean specialities provided by the islanders. Have time to rest and settle into your rooms. Then, walk to the top of the island and see the ceremonial Inca temples Pachamama and Pachatata. You'll also see one of the best sunsets in the world. Then, return to the local houses for dinner and at night, go dancing with the families (the party is optional). Day 2: Going to the island of Taquile After your breakfast, descend to the Port of Amantani (08:00) to take a boat towards Taquile Island. Have lunch on this island and then return to the Port of Amantani (13:00) to return to Puno by 16:00.

Excellent service!! I don't know how Leto the group in Cusco, there were only 3 of us, but the pick-up and transfer service were excellent !!!, the guide knew the tour and explained great in several languages! It was very enjoyable and we learned a lot about the culture thanks to the guide's explanations !!! An experience like no other !! recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely amazing. Our guide was excellent and interesting and the islands were just what we needed- a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our home stay was also excellent. One of the best tours I have ever been a part of!
