    Sail along the world's largest underground river at Puerto Princesa on a full-day tour. Learn about this incredible structure from your guide, look out for wildlife, and enjoy a restaurant meal. 

    Start your day with a convenient pick-up service from your downtown accommodation at 7:00 AM. From there, travel by land to the famous underground river. 

    Your guide will provide information about the area and Puerto Princesa City in general along the way, ensuring you get to learn as much as you can about this wonderful location. During the trip, a stop will be made at Buenavista, a delightful viewpoint where you can get a glimpse of Ulugan Bay.

    Arrive at Sabang Wharf at approximately 8:00 AM, and board a pump boat to the mouth of the cave. This place is home to Monitor Lizards, monkeys, snakes, and other forms of wildlife, some of which are exclusive to Palawan. 

    After a short walk, you'll ride a paddleboat to the underground river and marvel at this natural wonder.

    Once back at the wharf, lunch will be served at one of the restaurants in Sabang. Get to enjoy local cuisine and sample the taste Filipinos love. 

    An optional side trip to Ugong Rock Adventure Zipline and Spelunking is available after the Underground River Tour so that you can make the most of your day. Once back in the city, you'll be dropped off at your hotel.

    If you want a relaxing end to the day, select one of the massage options. Hotel drop-off after the massage can be provided with an extra charge, which can be booked as an add-on upon checkout.

    • Hotel transfer is included only within 15 kilometers radius from the airport. An $80 transfer surcharge may apply if your hotel is located outside 15 kilometers from the airport
    • A moderate amount of walking is involved. Further, due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities

    The underground river is fantastic. Definitely do it. My only complaint would be that this 1/2 day event is stretched out to unnecessarily take a full day. There’s an optional zip line which was fun and well worth it for 500 pesos. However, if you don’t do that and someone on your tour does, you have no choice but to wait for them for 75 minutes or more. After that and before lunch, the guide will conveniently introduce you to a vendor they have a relationship with where you can buy a fruit shake for 125 pesos. What they don’t tell you however is that at the buffet you can buy a shake for 100 pesos. Their cut, I guess?

    The trip was great, we really enjoyed ourselves. The underground river is impressive and definitely a place to not miss whilst in Palwan! We also really enjoyed the optional extra, mangrove tour. The guide was so lovely and sweet. We were lucky and seen lots of animals including a cat mangrove snake, monkeys & a monitor lizard.

    This was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on! Our guide Echo was fantastic! He added so much to the experience with his knowledge of local flora and fauna, and, of course - enthusiasm! The underground river is breathtaking, I will never forget it as long as I live and I implore everyone to visit this UNESCO world heritage site at least once in their lifetime! The mangrove forest boat was also excellent and supports the local community. We didn’t try the zip line but heard there’s spectacular views from it! Lunch was plentiful and vegetarian options and considerate of allergies etc.
