Some adult specimens can measure up to 13 meters in length, though accounts of individuals of up to 18 meters have been recorded. Swim with the whale sharks for about 2 hours for a truly unique experience. Then, go to Playa Norte on Isla Mujeres to enjoy a delicious lunch. Cancún: Snorkeling with Marine Turtles and Cenote Swim

2. Cancún: Snorkeling with Marine Turtles and Cenote Swim

Spend the ideal half-day on the Caribbean Sea: combine snorkeling with turtles and a cenote swim for a fun day out in the sun. After pickup from your hotel in Cancun or Puerto Morelos, your guide will drive you the 1 hour to Akumal Bay, a natural habitat for sea turtles. As you gear up, your guide will give you an overview and explain the rules of interacting respectfully with the turtles. Then, it’s just a short swim from the beach to where the turtles are. Free of strong waves and cloudy water, this is the perfect location to admire the beauty and grace of these animals as they interact and feed on seaweed at the bottom of the sea. Along with sea turtles, you’ll have the opportunity to observe other wildlife that lives near the coral reef of the bay.  Your next activity is a swim in a beautiful cenote. Here, you can relax and enjoy the fresh waters of this natural swimming pool in the middle of the Mayan jungle.

Life time experience!

Our tour guide did a fantastic job! We saw several whale sharks in the water. And a big sea turtle and a big Manta from the boat. This was a life time experience! To be next to this more than 10 meter big fish was fantastic! You should get a long sleeve swim shirt and a cap because the sun is really agressiv. The beach and the water at the Isla Mujeres is just amazing. We did a stop there had some snacks and jumped into the crystal clear water. Especially with the current sea grass situation its really worth it to make trip to the clear water of the Isla. In combination with the wildlife and this tour guide I really recommend this tour!

An absolutely incredible experience. Even if you snorkel with the giants for a few minutes, you have to accept many hours of travel (bus and speedboat). Nevertheless, an absolute recommendation !!!! From the boat we also saw dolphins and 2 turtles ... Then we swam in a beautiful bay on Isla Mujeres that is free of brown algae and then ate fresh ceviche, guacamole and nachos on the boat. It was really a great, unforgettable day! Many thanks to Carlos, Chicken and the captain!

Absolutely a bucket list experience. The guide and boat captain were very professional and experienced.

Nice adventure, safe and amazing. Our best tour in Mexico with a great team

Fantastic trip, but a lot of boats and therefore Mexican chaos at sea
