A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Jesuit mission was built by the Spanish Conquistadors in the 17th century. The ruins were discovered in 1897 and restored between 1940 and 1948.

The tour is as described, both the mine and the ruins are very interested and can be visited with local English-speaking guides, the driver was extremely helpful and chatty and speaks various languages. The coach seats are a little uncomfortable.

Interesting to know the rural area and know its history, it is not a long visit but it is worth it.
