O Templo de Poseidon foi construído em 44 a.C. e muitas de suas colunas dóricas originais ainda estão de pé. Uma das colunas tem um graffito deixado por ninguém menos que Lord Byron no início do século XIX. Há muito mais a dizer sobre este local pitoresco, mas é melhor ver uma vez lá do que ouvi-lo cem vezes.
