Experience Marseille like a local on a guided tour. Walk through the city and learn about its sports, culture, heritage, and history. Meet your guide outside Burger King by the Old Port of Marseille. Head south to reach the sea, then follow the waterfront. Admire the typical small fishing ports and hidden coves along the route. With lungs full of sea air, head inland through quiet parks. Avoid the tourist traps and learn all the best places to go from a local. Climb the narrow alleys to Notre-Dame de la Garde. Admire the incredible views as you contemplate the city from above. Then, return to the Old Port through the beautiful districts of the city center.
Embark on a 6 km hike departing from Cassis. Cross the creeks of Port-Miou, Port-Pin, and one of the most famous, En-Vau. Discover sensational landscapes as you trek along the crystalline waters that meander like fjords. Start by exploring the 1400m long Calanque of Port-Miou that houses a marina and conceals a rich heritage. Learn about a former site of exploitation of a limestone quarry and an underground river. Along the coast, continue until you reach the cove of Port-Pin, marking the entrance to Marseille. Discover a winding cove home to a pretty pebble cove with turquoise waters which you can, if you wish, taste the freshness of its waters during a break. Start to gain a little altitude, which will gradually take you up to 90m above sea level, to the En-Vau belvedere, revealing its beach in reverse, low and buried between the high cliffs.

Leave the village by foot, walking on the farming tracks between the celebrated vines of Grenache and Syrah, leading through rolling terrain, from one estate to another. Along the way learn all about the centuries-old history of wine-making in the region, and stop for a wine-tasting. Also enjoy a picnic in the vines (picnic/lunch not included). After the walk is complete you will return back to your hotel in Avignon. The walk is about 7 kilometers long, with about 2 hou...

With aerial views of the famed olive groves and even the Mediterranean Sea to the south, the rocky paths wind through shrub vegetation and pass lone cypress trees: just as Van Gogh painted them during his stay in these mountains. We visit a secret 3000 year-old fort before reaching the medieval village of Les Baux de Provence, set high above the valley.
