What people are saying about Praia, Cape Verde
We were hesitant about whether it would be worth the full day or cost but we are so so glad we did this. It was the highlight of our visit to Santiago as you see so much in a say. The tour guide Maria was amazing she taught us so much about the history, culture and life in Cape Verde. The highlight was definitely the cooking - the people were so so kind and lovely. Fascinating to see the plantations and rum distillery. Tyne views weren’t great due to cloud but this was out of their control!! 10/10
The hike was of moderate difficulty, as promised. It was proud to look at several mountains we had crossed and the long way we had passed. And of course the local people we met. But the best thing were the tour guides Ailton and Mr. Manycash. They were so funny and intelligent (including emotional intelligence) at the same time. And it was extremely interesting hearing Ailtons view on his own life. It was honour to take a tour with them!
Staff knowledgeable of the things they show, although always receptive to knowing more, they create a relationship with the customer that, combined with a natural friendliness, makes visits into something more than a simple visit, but often an interactive discovery that benefits both the parts. Ailton is a young man with a promising future in this area and he has all these qualities.
YOU CANT MISS THIS! incredible tour with the best tourist guide. We met Luisa who made us a delicious tipical cape verdian breakfast , and then we visit all the most interesting places of Santiago. Truly, the best. Garcia knows very well the history of the country and he explains it sooo good. You won’t regret. “Life is good” Thank you very much Admilson!!!
We had a wonderful experience today . We visited Ciudade Velha and with us therewas Maria as guide. She is so nice as person and so professional . She could even help us to find the tickets to Mail island as we could book by ourselves. Thank you so much !
