Very informative tour that covered the palace precinct and concluded with a visit to the palace sansoucci. Entry was not included and would take a lot of time. Instead we visited a church with mosaic from an Italian basilica. We then walked through the Dutch quarters, the place where the potsdam conference was held and then walked to the bridge of spies before heading home on the bus/train. Very educational but be prepared to walk. My pedometer read 20500 steps

If you have a day to travel outside Berlin, this tour is a MUST DO! Potsdam is a lovely little town with lots of cute shopping streets, cafes, and restaurants. Not to mention its deep World War II and Cold War History. This walking tour -- coupled with a 45-minute train ride each way to get to / from Berlin -- was truly fantastic. Our guide grew up in East Germany, was incredibly knowledgeable, and his childhood stories and insights into what life was like in the East made the tour unforgettable. The tour group was less than 20 people, and we really appreciate well-managed tour groups like this when we are traveling. It was a LOT of walking -- and in the dead heat of August -- but the guide was really considerate about finding shady spots and benches for us as a reprieve from the heat. Such a great and different activity!

Tobi was very knowledgeable and made the tour both fun and factual - he was great only disappointment was that we didn’t get to go into the palace and it was specifically mentioned when booking that it included entry to the palace - I know a few of us were disappointed
