Then Visit Uyuni Salt Flats: * Salt water eyes, *A hotel made completely out of salt which is currently used as a museum, *Flags of the world (Where you can bring yours and put there for free) and a Monument of Dakar racing. Lunch will be served near “Isla Incahuasi” (Fish Island), following, have time to take a hike to the top of the island to see giant cacti, and rock formations made of petrified coral. Next, take time to organize your group for fun perspective- and proportion-distorted photos, set on the blinding white surface of the salt flats, playing around with the scene, you can be sure to take some funny, and memorable shots! Arrive to Agencha town to have dinner and night stay in the hotel. Day 2: Start off at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast. First stop, Galaxy Caves and then go visit the Chiguana Desert on Uyuni salt flats South side, surrounded by volcanoes such as Ollagüe (5840m). Then, continue along the rocky road that´s called “El Pasito Tuntun”. Later, visit: Cañapa, Hedionda and Chiarcota Lagoons in which flamingoes can be seen. After Lunch, enter to “Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve”, visit the Desert of Siloli at 4550m (the highest and driest in the world), take a picture next to the ‘Rock tree’ (a lava rock formation). Before arriving at the final destination, stop at the overlook point by the Red Lagoon to see more pink flamingos in their natural habitat and admire this intense red-colored lake. Stay the night at a hotel in Huayllajara. Day 3: Get off to an early start around 5:00 a.m. to visit the Sol de Mañana Geyser (5,000m) and walk next to fumaroles and steaming craters filled with boiling pots of mud at 150-200 Cº. then, have the opportunity to take a bath in an open-air Hot spring at 35 Cº water. The next places to appreciate are the Dali Desert where Salvador Dali found his inspiration from boulders sprinkled in the middle of the desert, and then the Green, and white Lagoon (toxic copper water at the foot of the big Licancabur volcano at 6000m, a few kilometers from the Bolivia-Chile border). Then head back to Uyuni passing by beautiful scenery along the way and eating a picnic lunch along the roadside. On the way, pass by Rock Valley, Alota settlement, and San Cristobal Village where a baroque church and colonial paintings can be seen. Arrive to Uyuni town at 6:30 p.m.

DAY 3 Start off at 7:00 a.m. for breakfast. Visit: Galaxy Caves, Chiguana Desert, Ollagüe, the rocky road “El Pasito Tuntun”, the famous: Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota Lagoons in which flamingoes can be seen. Finally in the day, enter “Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve”, Desert of Siloli, Rock tree, and the immense Red Lagoon to see more pink flamingos in their natural habitat. Stay the night at a hotel in Huayllajara. DAY 4 Get off to an early start around 5:00 a.m. to visit: Sol de Mañana Geyser, Hot Springs, Dali Desert, Green Lagoon, White Lagoon on the foot of Licancabur volcano. Then head back to the Bolivia-Chile border (Hito Cajon), Guide will assist with your border crossing at 10:30 am, finally arrive at San Pedro de Atacama at 2:00 p.m. The drop-off point is at San Pedro de Atacama’s main square.

Day 1: You will be picked up from your hotel in La Paz at 6:00AM, at which point you will be transferred to the International Airport of El Alto from where you will fly to Uyuni. After a 45-minute flight, you will land at the International Airport of Uyuni, where you will meet your English-speaking professional guide and your driver. You will then enjoy a delicious American-style buffet breakfast in one of the most popular cafes in the area. Your trip will then begin with a visit to an outdoor museum of ancient and impressive field trains. You will enter the Salar by Colchani where you will be able to see the salt process and piles of salt, and visit a salt hotel before continuing downtown to visit the Incahuasi Island of volcanic rock and giant cacti. This is also an area that can be climbed to attain extraordinary viewpoints of the white salt plain. That evening, you will stay overnight at the Basic Salt Hostel in a private room with an en-suite. Day 2: On the second day your trip will continue in the direction of the south, where large numbers of flamingos can be found. Other birds, such as geese and Andean gulls, accompany the flamingos in these lagoons which are flanked by snow-capped volcanoes. You will then pass through the desert sand in order to reach your hotel. That night you will stay overnight at a basic hostel in a private room where you can watch the sun set over one of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet. Day 3: At dawn you will venture in search of the geysers Sol de Mañana. This will be the highest point of the route, sitting at about 5,000 meters above sea level. The cold here is intense, and you will see pools where the land seems to boil red. The desert and Salar de Chalviri is another scene of great landscape value that combines the white snow, ocher desert, the blue of the water, and the white of the borax. In one corner you can take a bath in Termas de Polques, and enjoy a hearty breakfast outdoors. After leaving this desert valley, you will visit the Laguna Verde, at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano. You will arrive at this lagoon just in time to see how the water goes from emerald green to a duller shade of blueish-green. You will then return in the car, stopping for lunch at Laguna Colorada, the main nesting center of the three species of flamingos. You will be returned to Uyuni Airport to board the flight back to La Paz, where your tour will then conclude.

Itinerary Day by Day Day 1: San Pedro - Hito Cajón – Lagunas De Colores – Huayllajara. After stopping at the migration offices in the borders of Chile and Bolivia, depart from Hito Cajon at 10:00 a.m. in 4WD CAR with an English speaking guide. During the day visit: Viewpoint of: Lincancabur Volcano, Green Lagoon and White Lagoon; Salvador Dalí Desert, Polques Hot Springs, Sol de Mañana Geisers and night rest in HUAYLLAJARA Hostel. Meals: Lunch and Dinner. Day 2: Huayllajara – Laguna Colorada – Lagunas Andinas - Agencha Start your trip after breakfast, at 07:00 am, with a visit to: Red Lagoon, Stone Tree, Siloli Desert, Honda Lagoon, Hedionda Lagoon, Cañapa Lagoon, Ollague Volcano Viewpoint, Chiguana Salt Flats and Stone Valley, spend the night in Agencha hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Day 3: Ajencha – Colchani – Salar De Uyuni - Uyuni The last day visit: Uyuni Salt Flat, Incahuasi Island (to see giant cacti and rock formations made of petrified coral), a hotel made completely of salt which is currently being used as museum, flags of the world, Dakar monument, “Ojos de Agua Salada”. Then continue visiting the small settlement of Colchani (salt miners´s workshops), see handicrafts made of salt and textile art made of llama and alpaca. Finally arrive at Uyuni’s train graveyard, to take some photos, concluding the tour in Uyuni City. Meals: Breakfast and Lunch. Important Information *During the rainy season (from January to April), it is not possible to access Incahuasi Island. We also may sleep in a different location due to road access.

This beautiful spot is excellent for photographers. •Colchani The Rosario Cooperative, which is a salt iodization plant, is located on the edge of the salt flats. This is a good place to observe the methods of salt extraction and process. Also, see the Salt Artisanal Market (Llama clothes - salt handicrafts) and a small salt museum. •Uyuni salt flats With 3665 meters of altitude and an extension of 12,000 km2, The journey through the salt flats provides a dazzling and incomparable landscape. Also, visit the salt eyes, salt and take beautiful photos. •Museum - Salt Hotel This is an unusual construction, built entirely of salt blocks. •Dakar Monument + Flags of the World Island the Flags of the World (Where you can bring yours and put it there for free) and a Monument of Dakar racing for nice shots. •Incahuasi island Located in the center of the salt flats, is like an Oasis of an exclusive and isolated ecosystem, and inhabited by cactus from 1 to 4 meters high. Incahuasi Island is considered an excellent spot by photographers, as well as a place to rest, with the impressive landscape of the majestic Uyuni Salt Flats. Finally, enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. Arrive back to Uyuni by 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 pm bus from Uyuni to La Paz. Arrive at the Office Bus at 8:30 p.m. Day THREE Arrive at La Paz city at 6:30 a.m. The finish point of the tour: Bus Station La Paz City. On the way, pass by Rock Valley, Alota settlement, and San Cristobal Village where a baroque church and colonial paintings can be seen. Take your bus to La Paz City at 8:30 p.m. - Bus Departure 9:00 p.m. Same bus "Todo Turismo" with services on board. DAY 5 Arrive at La Paz city at 6:30 a.m. The finish point of the tour: “Todo Turismo” office.

Day 1: La Paz to Uyuni Your service begins with pickup from your hotel in La Paz (1 hour before the bus departure time), at which point you will take a night bus to Uyuni. The selected bus comes with reclining seats, a bathroom on board, English assistance, and a small dinner included. Day 2: Uyuni to San Juan Following a 9-hour bus ride, you will be transferred to the offices where you will enjoy a delicious breakfast before beginning your tour of the Uyuni Salt Flats and the colorful lagoons. The first stopping point is the "train cemetery", where you will be able to see old and time-worn trains. You will then continue your tour to the "Salar de Uyuni" by Colchani, where you can observe the manual processing of edible salt. Following this, your tour continues to visit the salt mounds and the center of the Salar, where you will visit the Isla Incahuasi, a natural formation of volcanic rock and giant cacti. Your trip then continues to the opposite side of the Salar to go to San Juan, a town located on the banks of the Salar where you will spend the night in a comfortable shared room and enjoy a delicious local dinner. Day 3: San Juan to Laguna Colorada After enjoying a delicious breakfast, your guide will direct you to the south west where you will discover the Cañapa, Stink, Chiarkota, Honda, and Ramadita lagoons. At these locations you can observe large amounts of flamingos and other birds, such as Andean Geese and seagulls that accompany the flamingos in these lagoons which are flanked by picturesque snowy volcanoes. Your tour then continues to the "Laguna Colorada" where you will spend the night in a basic room with warm blankets. Following an exquisite local dinner, you can observe the stars and the milky way which are clearly visible due to this place being considered one of the cleanest places on the planet. Day 4: Lagoons, Uyuni, La Paz On your fourth day you can get up early to go in search of the geysers known as "Morning Sun". This will allow you to get to see the first rays of sunlight in this picturesque area where volcanoes seem active and emit fumaroles and volcanic activity in small quantities. Continuing with your trip, you will travel over the highest point of the road at approximately 5,000 meters above sea level. Your trip then continues with a visit to Laguna Colorada before continuing to the "stone tree" and along the high plateau road to reach the hot springs of Polques. There you can take a hot bath and then cross the desert of Dali to reach the green lagoon located at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano. Your tour then returns to Uyuni, where on the way you can observe Andean plants and animals of the area before you arrive to Uyuni at 5:00PM. Following a short break, you will be transferred to your bus for your return to La Paz. Day 5: La Paz You will arrive in La Paz at approximately 6:00 AM, the driver will be waiting for you to pick you up and take you to the Hotel.

This small town survives from the sale of salt souvenirs and hand woven textiles. Locals also extract salt and process it for consumption - a process you can observe. Afterwards, enter the salt flats and drive towards the first salt hotel ever built. It no longer serves as a hotel but you can still see it standing proud, with its crystalline white walls, tables, and chairs - all made out of salt. Then, head to the Incahuasi, or Fish Island, where giant cacti grow up to 12 meters tall. Enjoy lunch here before trying your hand at snapping those iconic distance and size perception pictures on the salt flats. Finally, head back to Uyuni.
