Unfortunately our outbound trip to The Isle of Wight was cancelled as the hovercrafts were out of service. We were advised to go on the ferry with our tickets so as not to miss our day out. An hour and half later we arrived on the Isle. Luckily the crafts were back in service on our return. Great 10 min ride back to Portsmouth however try to skip school turning out time as the kids tend to go straight for the window seats so you can’t get the best view. Annoying as most of them are looking at their phones rather than the view!!!

Definitely get there earlier than your 15 mins as we had to queue at the desk who said this was a third party sale. Infact we missed our designation flight because they were trying to sort it out. Once on board the staff were great, the experience great fun and all in all we loved it.

fantastic crossing to IoW in the morning had a great day their. however on the return the weather had changed and crossing was cancelled. it was just by chance we discovered this qnd only just made it to the catamaran in teaming rain. no transport to get there. on arrival at Portsmouth Dock we had to get a taxi at our own expense back to Southsea to pick up my car. no help or assistance in Portsmouth. I appreciate most of the passengers are commuters and do it every day. but there are tourists who may struggle without assistance. cold, wet maybe a little frightened in an un-familiar city and no idea how to get back to Southsea
