Full description
If you are looking for the best way to satisfy your family’s appetite in Porto, this tasty experience is right up your alley. Bite by bite, you and your loved ones will discover the city through its tastings and favorite local eateries. Together with a friendly local, you’ll see the authentic side of Porto you have been looking for. After meeting with your host at the metro station Trindade, you will be taken to a charming grocery store to sample a well known combination in Porto: cheese, quince and marmalade. Following this you will be educated as to how the famous Pasta del Nata is made, before being taken to a producer of the famous Portuguese appetizer 'Bolinhos de Bacelhau'. The tour will then continue with the opportunity to try the Portuguese version of a hotdog paired with a refreshing drink, before progressing on to a local 'Tasca' where you will try cured ham with slow cooked bread. The tour will then have a sweet conclusion, wrapping up the day at an ice-cream store.

Angelo was a fantastic guide, telling us lots of information as well as taking us to fantastic tastings. We felt as though we saw the authentic Portugal, not Portugal for tourists. Allowance was made for our 10 year old daughter at every stop, so she really enjoyed it. Five stars, no question.

Ana showed us some typical Portugese food and costumised the tour entirly for us. She had special attention for our children. The food was great and the information very interesting. She showed us places in the city we would never find on our own. Greatly appreciated it!
