Full description
After being picked up by car from your hotel, you will head downtown to begin the tour in one of the main commercial streets of Porto, Santa Catarina Street. On this street you can appreciate the tiles of a beautiful church, as well as the old market known as Bolhão where the local sellers sell their fresh products.
Following that you will visit one of the most beautiful cafes in the world, which was built during a time of French influence in Porto. You will visit the local area Sé, where Porto was born, before viewing the Cathedral of Porto. On the other side of this area you will be able to see the beautiful tiles of the St. Bento Train Station.
You will soon near the oldest neighborhood of Porto, where you can appreciate the traditional Porto life, complete with clothes drying on the balconies. From Aliados Square you will visit some buildings and landmarks, such as the Baroque-style ex-libris tower of Porto, and the Lello Bookstore where the author of Harry Potter inspired herself to write her first book.
As you finally reach the famous Flowers Street, you will go down to the riverside where you will visit the Mesericordia Church, the Bolsa Palace, and the St. Francisco Church, which is covered by golden carvings. Your tour will later conclude by the riverside, where you will learn about the bridges of Porto and the Porto wine cellars, located in the riverside of Gaia.
