The trip was so much fun. Our guide, Sofia, was absolutely fantastic. On our way to the vineyards Sofia shared so many interesting facts about the history of Portugal, about the areas we were passing by and we had a great laugh ! We visited two vineyards. First stop was the Portwine tasting - absolutely lovely. Continued with a boat ride, very cute and relaxing. Then we had lunch: very simple, filling. Finished the day with a wine tasting on a beautiful terrace facing Douro Valley.

This was a well orchestrated and well rounded tour! We went to two amazing wineries, had a traditional lunch (which is just ok) and got to do a boat ride on the river. The drive to and from was not too long or bad, and our driver/guide (Andre) was amazing!!

Our guide Daniel was good, the first vineyard was beautiful, though there were many other groups visiting at the same time, so it was a little bit too busy. The lunch was fantastic, the boat trip is just nice to relax a little bit, but there is nothing special about it. The second vineyard was interesting because its focus is more on regular wines (non-port) and olive oil, so we had a different experience compared to the first one. The pick-up and drop-off were also great and on-time, however, sometimes the driving was a bit too fast. As a suggestion, I'd like to have had some food pairings with the wines, so we could enjoy it more. I've experienced this on similar tours in other countries and it really uplifts the whole experience.
