Delightful guide/driver Eduardo took us on a very scenic tour of the Douro stopping at both a medium sized port wine producer & a lovely small family run winery (which wasn't included but was only an additional 5 Euros each) with spectacular views. Very worthwhile & a fun day.

We have really enjoyed a trip, our driver and guide all-in-one, he pick us up on time, the car was confortable for four of us. We have got everything what was described in the itinerary, we could spend as much time as we wanted on all spots which meant that we arrived back to Porto a little bit later as expected, but we didn´t mind - the sunset in Porto in June is about 9 p.m. We were thinking of a Douro trip by train&boat, but at the end we have decided for a private tour by car - it might be nice on boat, but you will miss beautiful miradores over the valley... Finally, Porto wine is perfect, we have ordered several bottles from the winery we have visited, awaiting a shipping in a few weeks :)

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Ausflug. Ana war eine super Reiseleiterin, die uns auch vieles über Portugal erzählen konnte. Es ist sehr eindrücklich, wie die Weinberge diese Landschaft prägen. Auch konnten wir spontan noch eine 1-Stündige Flussfahrt machen. Wir können diesen Ausflug sehr empfehlen.
