The one thing I would have liked to know is that this experience is 10.5 hours long, not the 9 hours listed before I booked. That said, if you have the time, it's well worth it! The vistas are beautiful, and you get to learn about port, table wine, and olive oil, with tastings, a delicious lunch, a relaxing boat cruise, and knowledgeable guides. I'm so glad I took the time to explore the Douro Valley while I was in the region.

We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide José! He was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make stops for photos, gave great recommendations, and was knowledgeable about the area. This day trip was a highlight of our trip and we’d highly recommend it! Not only is the Duoro Valley beautiful and well worth the visit, this tour was the perfect way to see the area.

This tour is a great way to get out of Porto and experience the Douro Valley! Even though we were the only people to reserve the tour they proceeded and it was as great as advertised. Our tour guide, João, was incredibly knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure that we had a good time. I would highly recommend booking this tour!
