The hike and the meal were both fantastic! We loved it and had a beautiful day, despite a little bit of rain. The meal was pretty amazing, and we thought the trip was a great value and a wonderful way to spend a day. Be aware, you probably will not be able to go on the extension bridge on this trip, because you have to buy separate tickets for that in advance for a particular time, and you can't guarantee you'll be able to arrive at the bridge at an exact time. Also, we had a 77-year-old in our group and she found the hike pretty challenging but made it through.

10/10!!!! I spent the day with Fonzie and Carolina. I was lucky enough to have a solo tour. Honestly was the best day. The steps are hard, not gonna lie but the view is worth it, the bridge is wonderful. If you are scared of heights, do it anyway. Fonzie was full of interesting information about Portugal and about the trek itself, like about the river and the history. (I wasn’t expecting that, I thought we were just walking, nope, my guy had knowledge to share). Then we went to the restaurant to eat. Hands down the best food Iv had in a long time. Again was not expecting 3 course meal but there was a cheese board, wonderful main meal and delicious dessert. This whole day was 10/10 and I have to say a massive thank you to Fonzie and Carolina because they really out did themselves. So for me 10/10!

We were a small mixed tour group of 7 guests in a comfortable and well-kept van. Our friendly and motivated tour guide - Rodrigo - provided us with information in English during the trip and then made every effort to ensure our well-being. We started at the top with the imposing suspension bridge (optional, 12€ extra, time slot) and were thus able to enjoy nature on the certainly less strenuous descent with many stairs of the Passadicos do Paiva wooden hiking trail. At the end there was a rich menu with delicious local specialties in a country inn. All in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, which Rodrigo also contributed to. I'm only moderately trained and was able to manage the trip without any problems at the age of 72. We were also lucky with the weather: sun, but many footpaths in the shade - dry again after a few rainy days. All in all a wonderful day of hiking
