The staff were attentive and polite. The cruise boat is air conditioned which was a life saver as it got really hot. There aren't enough chairs for everyone to sit on the deck. We sat outside until 11am and went inside because it was too hot. It would be good to have information about the times. We had no idea how long the cruise would last. It arrives at Regua at 3.45pm and then a coach takes you back to Porto at 4.30pm. There's only one option to return to Porto and it's a coach. People who want to return by train need to make their own arrangements. The train is slower though and has no air con so we decided to return by coach. Overall, great day and beautiful views. We really enjoyed it.

The cruise was really well organised for a large group event, with very professional, competent and friendly crew. Although it was during one of the hottest weeks of the year, the crew did their best to keep everyone cool, safe and entertained. I would have preferred a bit more clarity and/or directions / guides as to what can be done during the time waiting for the buses back to Porto, but all and all, really good value and a great experience.

Nice cruise on the Douro Valley, a bit long and boring at the beginning, but very nice from lunch until disembarking at Régua. Breakfast a little light, but the midday meal was very generous. However I do not understand the stop a régua, no guide, no map or information on the city. Fortunately I had already anticipated during the cruise and saw that there was a traditional market not far away which closed at 6 p.m. It was not to mention that the arrival around 3:30 p.m. at the market only a poor flower stand was still open, moreover there is no interesting trade or attraction to see near the port (we only have one hour on place), we have by dint of walking come across a fairground being dismantled and we have found a stand of churros and drinks open, so we had a snack on the spot before returning to the port to take the bus in the direction of porto . Be careful, the return bus puts you where it wants!
