We went for this activity at 9am and were blessed with amazing sunshine and a light morning breeze. The captain Carlos and the host Rafa made our journey a very pleasant one and it was an 1.5h full of curios information about the area and the different caves history. Because of the sea condition we couldn't enter any caves but to be fair the experience was worth it anyway. As Rafa said, we must respect the sea! :) The team is extremely professional and they really take care of you from start until the end. There was also a host speaking french for a small group so there is a great attention to language requirements too. Hugely suggested if you are in the area and are looking for a fun activity to do!

Carlitos and his team are who/what makes this experience incredible. Carlitos: He is a skilled captain; he knows the waters and caves inside & out. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, he will turn the boat around and surprise you! He’s a good guy and makes the experience so fun. Crew: Crew members sat with us according to language, to make sure we each got a personal experience that we could understand. This was really thoughtful. The crew was great, they shared stories and brought the full experience to life. Value: We got way more out of the experience than we paid for. This is how Carl & his crew make their living in an economy that depends on tourism. We tipped them generously at the end. This experience showed me views I never would have seen from land. I cannot wait to go back to the Algarve region when the weather is warm. I would absolutely book with Carl and Atlantis again! Book this tour, you'll have so much fun and be glad you did!

The trip was really nice. Our guide Raphael was super cool, telling us jokes and interesting fun facts during the entire trip. The only negative part about this tour is that you can't get off at the Benagil caves, but it does make sense because of the strong waves at time. If you desire to do so, renting a kayak there might be a better idea for you. However, the boat tour takes you to a lot of things from Portimao to the Benagil caves, things fhat you probably won't have time to see by kayak. Also, for me the guide itself made the tour directly worth it. I would recommend for sure!
