Full description
Escape the hustle and bustle of Melbourne for the day and explore the best of the Mornington Peninsula on this day trip. Enjoy a private trip with paddleboarding, a winery visit, and a hike to the hot springs. Meet your guide in Melbourne's Central Banking District and head straight to the peninsula's beautiful sandy beaches where you can try out standup paddleboarding with a certified instructor. After a short introduction and safety briefing, you'll have time to get kitted out before taking to the waters. Keep an eye out for the famous colorful bathing boxes nearby, as well as the dolphins who regularly visit the area. After drying off, hop back in the vehicle and drive along the coast looking out over Port Philip Bay. Pay a visit to one of the region's best wineries, Trofeo Estate. Here, enjoy a sensational gourmet picnic lunch and relax in the winery's gardens. After lunch, continue to the south of the Peninsula and on to Cape Schanck. Spend a few hours hiking through coastal nature trails to the breathtaking Bushrangers Bay. See wildlife like kangaroos and wallabies before arriving at the viewpoint. Admire breathtaking coastal scenery, with a deserted beautiful white-sand beach and turquoise blue rock pools. Following all that action, chill out at the Peninsula Hot Springs. Kick back and relax with over 50 different bathing experiences, including an amphitheater of geothermal pools, before returning to Melbourne for dinner time.
