Full description
Following hotel pickup, the first stop will be at the renowned Mossman Gorge, where an introduction to this unique World Heritage Site awaits you. Embark on a guided walk, stopping for photos along the way, and then hop aboard for a river cruise on the Daintree River, home to a diverse ecosystem and the elusive estuarine crocodile. Observe stunning native and migratory bird life, butterflies, and breathtaking scenery. Crossing the Daintree River, journey to Alexandra Lookout to enjoy sweeping views extending from the Daintree River Estuary to the Coral Sea. Stop then for morning tea under the canopy of this prehistoric rainforest, consisting of muffin biscuits, plunged coffee, Daintree Tea, and water.  Continue on to Cape Tribulation, with a stop at Kulki Lookout for unparalleled views of the rainforest and beach, the only place in the world where two UNESCO-listed areas meet. The next stop is Noah Valley, a World Heritage private property which plays host to some of the most spectacular, pristine rainforest found anywhere in the world. Take a stroll along The Gateway To Paradise and see one of the most primitive flowering plants still in existence. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear rainforest stream while your barbecue lunch is prepared in a unique setting, a private retreat surrounded by rainforest. Savor a lunch of steak, fish, and sausage, served with salads and a warm damper (Australian-style bread) followed by a tropical fruit platter. Follow lunch with an interpretive guided rainforest walk through the heart of the Daintree rainforest. Noah Valley is acknowledged as a refugium, where plant species have survived undisturbed for millions of years with numerous species not known to exist anywhere else. Discover how all living parts of the Daintree Rainforest depend on each other for survival, among other interesting facts. Conclude the tour with a visit to Daintree Ice Cream Company.

We were picked up at the advised time, our guide Tony was very knowledgeable & friendly. Our group of fellow travellers was a pleasure to be with, which would have been attributable to Tony. Our day was as advertised, morning tea & lunch were delicious. We arrived home at advised time. A good day, well worth doing.

An amazing tour full of excitement and our tour guide was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about everything and shared so many stories and information that we didn't know. He made sure that everyone was included and took the time to talk to all the participants. We really enjoyed the tour and have some great memories and photos.

Frequent stops meant we weren’t driving for more than ~30 minutes at a time; each stop felt like plenty of time to fully experience the location. The rainforest walk was so much better with a guide compared to simply walking through a forest. Lunch was surprisingly excellent. It was a full day that didn’t feel like any of it was wasted
