Thankful that we picked the full day tour because you really needed the entire day to explore the Port Arthur Historic site. The full day gave us a deeper exploration into Port Arthur and Tasmania’s overall history. If you are lucky you will get Mark as your guide who was super informative, helpful and overall a fantastic guide! The full day tour includes some stop overs into Richmond and a few breath taking look outs. Overall I highly highly recommend a tour as you will learn way much more than you would if you went on your own.

This was such a fantastic and worthwhile visit. The guided tour is a must. So informative and gives you such a great insight to Port Arthur and it’s history. Include the harbour tour and your day is complete.

Great guide Phil, well paced. Lots of interesting stops and things to look at. Port Arthur the highlight of course. Good way to see points of interest outside Hobart too

Excellent value and great commentary by our bus driver Phil. Day was choc full and we greatly enjoyed the experience.

It was an amazing site, we had a lovely guide take the role of one of the convicts and bring the history alive.
